School Dinners - please see link below to view the new menu

It is with great pleasure that as of 2nd November the hot lunch service will be managed by Chartwells.

Every aspect of this service is designed specifically for primary aged children and meets all of the Government's Food standards, whilst also offering your children tasty and appealing dishes that they will recognise and want to eat.

We will start the service off with a temporary menu offering 2 hot lunch choices per day and meals will be ordered and paid for in the same way they are now. The price of the lunches will remain unchanged.

There are some exciting new developments that will soon follow including a new online system for ordering meals and a 3rd hot daily food choice. We will contact you again shortly with more information with respect to these changes. We will also send an invite to attend a taster session so you can see and try the new service for yourself.

Free meals are provided as a hot lunch, and forms for
claiming free school meals are available on line at www.lincolnshire.gov.uk or from
the school office.
From September 2014 all children in Key Stage 1 will be entitled to a free hot school
meal.
If children prefer, they can bring a packed lunch to eat. This needs to be a healthy
lunch as the academy has just been awarded National Healthy Schools Status.
Packed lunch boxes need to be clearly labelled and drinks need to be in a plastic
bottle or carton. We ask that glass bottles are not brought into school. Ideas for
healthy lunchboxes can be found at:
www.nhs.uk/change4life
www.bhf.org.uk
www.foodafactoflife.org.uk
All the children eat their lunch together in the hall.
There are 3 lunchtime supervisors who are responsible for the children during the lunch break.
